Calling all console fans – the Black Friday deals are live on both the Xbox and the PlayStation stores.

Sony has gone in pretty big with its PSN Black Friday deals, knocking significant chunks off the asking price for Spider-Man, God of War, FIFA 19, Detroit: Become Human, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. A lot of these games are up to 50% off so they’re almost as cheap as just buying a physical copy. Hooray!

The Xbox Store deals area actually fairly similar, albeit the deep discounts required an Xbox Live Gold subscription. There is 20% off on COD: Black Ops 4, as well as the same deals on FIFA 19, AC: Odyssey, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, as well as 50% off NBA 2K19. The lack of exclusives makes the Xbox deals somewhat less appealing, although Forza Horizon 4 can be had for 35% off, bringing it down to $39.

There’s also a miserly 10% off Red Dead Redemption 2 on both stores, which is OK I guess, but hardly tempting for anyone still sat on the fence.
